Software Developer(Fresher) at ANSYS India - Freshers - Pune

The ANSYS Meshing team is looking for a software developer to help design and develop cutting edge mesh generation applications. The successful candidate will join an agile, fast paced international team that produces best in class mesh generation software that supports the core product lines of ANSYS.

Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:
The position will emphasize working on geometry tolerant unstructured meshing algorithms to support the development of advanced meshing technologies for complex geometries. Training and mentorship will be provided before transitioning into full development responsibilities.

Location : Pune
Experience: 0 to 2 yrs
Education: (UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization) OR (PG - M.Tech - Any Specialization)

Desired Candidate Profile:
• A Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related discipline.
College courses in Numerical Analysis, Geometry Modeling, and/or related aspects of scientific computing.
• Freshers from IITs/IISC with good academic record are welcome to apply for this position.
• Experience in C and functional programming languages such a lisp or scheme is a plus
• Final year project in an area related to Geometry or Meshing is a plus
• Knowledge of agile and lean software development processes is also a plus.
